Lacrosse Day Camps

 

GE Lacrosse Academy is run by Past Division 1 College players, college coaches and professional players.

All Day Camps Are For Boys And Girls Ages 5 and Up

Position Clinic

 

Offensive Concepts: Stick Work, 1v1 Offense
2v2 defense, setting picks, motion offense, fast break,

dodging from up top, dodging from behind the cage.

 

Defensive Concepts: Stick work 1v1 defense, playing
picks, sliding techniques, communication, off ball

defense.

 
Goalie Concepts: Fundamentals, techniques stopping the ball,
clearing, communication, angels of shots, closing the cage.

 

Skills Clinic

 
Face offs: Hand positioning, foot positioning, head of stick position, weight
distribution for hands and feet, face-off strategy, specific face-off moves.

 

Shooting/Dodging: Proper hand extention, torso rotation, quick release,
shooting on the run, crease shooting, time and room shooting, split dodge,

getting to the middle of the field, increasing angles, fighting for top side,
 roll dodge, creating separation from defenders.

Ages:


All ages and skill levels. Drills are designed for

the individual players, depending on that players skill

level they will learn the necessary knowledge to

master the individual skill that is being taught.

 

Equipment:

Campers will be required to provide their own

equipment, including stick, helmet, gloves, arm

pads and shoulder pads. All players will receive

a free lacrosse jersey for registering

COST:

Half Day Camp (ages 5-14) 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:00pm- 3:00pm Monday-Friday (5 days)  $130
***Full Day Camps at some locations (ages 5-14) 9am-3pm (5 Days) $250 

Soccer Options 9-12pm on most camps (See Soccer Academy Page)
